FAQ

Does acupuncture hurt?

No, Acupuncture should not hurt. It is normal to feel a small pricking sensation as the needle is inserted, and a subsequent dull or tingling sensation around the needle during the treatment. Most people are amazed by how relaxed and rejuvenated the feel after a treatment. This can only occur is the treatment is gentle and comfortable.

Is acupuncture safe?

As long as it is performed by a trained and certified practitioner, Acupuncture is extremely safe. Acupuncturists are required to use disposable needles that are carefully disposed of after one treatment. Bethany completed a rigorous, 9 semester graduate degree program in Acupuncture from the nation’s oldest Traditional Chinese Medicine school, and is constantly keeping up to date through professional development.
